Chasing a target of 189 runs, Rajasthan Royals fell just short, scoring 188 for the loss of 4 wickets, taking the match into a Super Over.
Rajasthan needed 9 runs in the final over to win, but could only manage 8. Mitchell Starc bowled the tense final over for Delhi Capitals.
For Rajasthan, openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana played crucial half-century knocks. Jaiswal and skipper Sanju Samson shared a 61-run partnership for the first wicket. Sanju had to retire hurt after scoring 31 runs.
Jaiswal made 51 off 37 balls, hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes. Riyan Parag was dismissed for 8. Nitish Rana smashed 51 runs off 28 balls, with 6 fours and 2 sixes.

Abishek Porel was the top scorer for Delhi, making 49 runs off 37 balls with 5 fours and a six—falling just one run short of a half-century. KL Rahul contributed 38 runs, while captain Axar Patel added 34. Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten on 34.
In Rajasthan’s bowling department, Jofra Archer was the most successful, picking up 2 wickets for 32 runs in his 4-over spell.
