For Delhi, opener Faf du Plessis was the top scorer with 50 runs off 27 balls, hitting 3 fours and 3 sixes. He shared an 81-run partnership for the first wicket with fellow opener Jake Fraser, who scored 38 runs off 32 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Abhishek Porel remained unbeaten on 34 runs off 18 balls, with 2 fours and 2 sixes. KL Rahul was dismissed for 15 runs, while Tristan Stubbs remained not out on 21 runs.

Earlier, Hyderabad, batting first after winning the toss at Delhi's home ground in Visakhapatnam, posted a total of 163 runs, losing all their wickets in 18.4 overs. This was thanks to a half-century from young batter Aniket Verma, who scored 74 runs off 42 balls, including 6 sixes and 5 fours.
